|
Billie Watt began this class for
returning veterans of World War II in the late 1940's and it has been
going ever since. This group uses the series "The Present Word" and is
currently studying living as God's covenant people. Teachers vary each
month.

|
This class is
currently discussing the Old Testament Stories from Kings and
Chronicles. The class is led by various leaders using the series "The
Present Word".

This small and diverse group is mainly a
discussion class. Teachers change monthly and may use "The Present
Word" for inspiration, or they may choose their own topic!

group takes on a discussion of current events in relationship to
Biblical truths. Discussion is facilitated by class members using "The

This active group selects a
curriculum of interest to everyone. Currently they are viewing DVDs
from the History Channel and A&E on Herod the Great, Angels, and Famous
People in the Bible. The discussion is facilitated by various rotating
teachers.

This group of 20- and 30-year-olds is
currently studying the series "Journey Through the Bible". After
completing the volume on Exodus - Deuteronomy, they will focus on an
Advent Study before picking up Joshua - Ruth.

Additional Children’s Programs
Nursery
The crib nursery at Steele Creek
Presbyterian is available during early Worship, Church School and late Worship
sessions. Staffed by experienced caregivers, the nursery is the loving and safe
place for infants and small children up to age three. It is located in Room 104
of the Education Building.
Kids Time
Kids
Time is a program for children aged three years through Kindergarten to begin to
learn about God through Bible stories and activities. Children are escorted to
the Sea Lions Room after the Word for Children during the 11:00am Worship
service. Parents may stay with their child during the program. Parents can
pick up their children after the Worship service in the room or adjoining
playground.

R.A.T.S.
– Ready Are The Servants
The church R.A.T.S. is a youth group
for children in grades three through five. They meet twice per month: once for
a service oriented activity and once for fellowship. Meeting times vary
depending on the activities.

High School and Middle
School Youth Groups
The youth groups for High School and
for Middle School meet on Sundays from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Each group has a team
of leaders to help guide the youth in a balanced mix of activities, fellowship,
service, study and worship, including summer mission trips, camps and
conferences.
